The most valuable PC game is not a very hard one to guess as it comes from one of, if not the, most popular PC games over the past 10 years or so. There are also Chase Sequences found in such instances as a battle between Vegeta and Zarbon This includes a chase where the controlled character must escape Zarbon without getting too close or risk being defeated, as most villains will not hesitate to fire Ki Blasts if the controlled character fall behind. Tenkaichi 3 is still better than this game even though that game is about 5 years old in its fight engine and freedom of movement on the battle field,one more fact to be noted here is that the character clothing or modals or what ever are very badly made as the only differences is that clothing A is in normal condition clothing B is that the only differences is that there is a tiny tear i dont see no differences except that a wolf must have clawed his clothing while he was flying or something.
The artwork in each of these settings also draws from a variety of different artistic styles, from grand imagery as seen in roleplaying games like Dragon Age, through to bright and colorful depictions that would fit very well in a Disney movie, and even a funny cardboard-cutout style ala the South Park TV series. Of course, a decade has passed as of writing since that game was released and Dragon Ball Fighterz completely changed the game in terms of what we expect in a DBZ fighting game.
This is awesome and something many other games have done, but for me it never gets old. The thing is, some of the story is told to you via cut scenes which look fantastic. Other parts actually the majority of it! It is like they ran out of time to make cut scenes for the whole story. If that is not enough, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi has a second mode for you to play through as well.
In this mode, you get to create your own character and you play through a brand-new original story that sees you needing to find all of the Dragon Balls in order to save the world. It is pretty basic, but at the time I thought this was awesome and it was something new to the series. Though what this actually does is dilute the overall experience. Only two characters will be shown on screen at once due to performance restrictions, leading to script off-camera. It seems unnatural and pulls you out of the action.
Not to mention the skimming that is done in the storytelling department. The game seriously cuts down on the less essential fights which simply lowers the content on offer for the player. These games thrive on the player being able to pin any fighter against each other and not making this fit into the story like in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is criminal.
One thing that has never been questioned for this game series is its attention to detail aesthetically and this continues in Dragonball-Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
This game has wonderful cell-shaded environments and flawlessly animated depictions of the anime characters. Each model is expertly captured and the subtle additions this time out such as wear and tear on armour and clothing when using fusions or going super Saiyan is phenomenal. Then the special moves look brilliant too. They look refined and polished, staying true to the anime in that respect.
The sound quality is great too, the music ramps up with the battle, adding to the intensity as you edge closer and closer to a famous victory. One thing that has remained in this title from the last outing is the sheer volume of game modes.
You have the main campaign jam packed with all the sagas from the anime. Then you have a tag tournament that sees you fight multiple opponents at once. You have the sim dragon mode that acts as a training arena and then you also have to collect all the Dragonballs too.
