But all the other software I use on my work computer required an upgrade to Windows 10, so I cannot simply go back to Windows 8, or I can't say that I'm lucky that I was able to install the "newer" version because it's a terrible replacement for the previous version.
But at least I got it installed on Windows 10 desktop. But it doesn't sync - I can hear the message come in on my phone, but the same message never arrives on the desktop. If I send a message from the desktop, it syncs onto my phone almost immediately.
The bare minimum of functions are all that you can do on this junk version. I somehow have two entries for the same person, but with a different phone number no idea why - it's not on my phone that way, and I've never received a message from this person and the odd number. I tried to delete the erroneous contact. Can't do it on the desktop. I came on the forum to see if there was any new info about this junk software - a fix, an update coming soon.
It is so frustrating to read the responses from VZW staff - half the time their responses make it clear that they didn't read thru a post and the other half the help offered is either obsolete, offers broken links to a phantom download, or doesn't address the issue. Are we in kindergarten or something??? Thank You! This helped me. I found that when attempting your suggestion. Skip to main content. Accessibility Resource Center Skip to main content.

This is great for someone like me who doesn't like to hold their phone all the time, or like power users who never have any battery life and still need to send messages.
In conclusion, I would just like to thank my coworker Jim for introducing me to this wonderful app. I use to be an iPhone user, but never liked the idea of owning a mac. After switching to a galaxy s7 edge I was happy about my decision, and even happier that I could now use a feature that I believed was only for the world of iPhones.
I hope some of you out there get to discover this app. I was surprised when I saw something like this was out for windows. I used this when I had Verizon, it was great. It's has more features and works with Android and Apple on any carrier. I heard about this app as well, but also noticed that it has a yearly subscription. Can you confirm this? Sorry for the late reply, but the benefits of having this feature installed as a stand alone program stand out for me.
Not only does it give you the option to start the program on PC startup, but you're able to view incoming messages in a nice screen overlay even while completing other tasks. Unless you want to be logging in constantly or want your personal Verizon account open in a workplace environment than that's the risk you take. Not only this, but you can setup sound notifications from the app and even auto reply features. If you forget your phone at home or in the car this saves the hassle.
Its a good way to text from your computer, but the app is severely lacking in features. It works well and it makes the transportation departments life much easier. I dont know why Verizon stopped allowing downloads of their Windows 7.
